Brand Placement

Organizations deliberately place their brands and items in motion pictures or in TV arrangement to inconspicuously get buyers to see their brands, this Is called brand situation. Two items which I have seen In films are Apple Imams In the Twilight film Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011) and Manual Blank shoes in the Sex and the City Movie (2008). These were both huge blockbuster hits which numerous individuals saw and fixated on. The two of them star acclaimed big names who play attractive characters. In the films both the brands are obviously appeared with the characters so the watcher sick relate who the character is with the brand to give the brand imagery (Levy, 1959). In Sex and the City we first observe the Manual Blank heels when the shopping center character Carrie Bradshaw Is demonstrated her new closet which will before long be loaded up with her garments that are begrudged by watchers. The scene is sentimental and everything is flawless in Carrie's reality which recommends that th e customer would be in a comparative circumstance in the event that they had proposals shoes. The mark on the case is obviously appeared as Carrie cautiously puts her valued belonging on the rack. The shoes show up toward the finish of the strive during an uncommon scene where Carrie Is being proposed to, the heel is utilized to finalize the negotiation of the proposition. This by and by Incorporates the shoe with bliss and sentiment. Sex and the city has been a well known TV arrangement (1998 †2004) so there was an immense publicity when the film was discharged. Carrie Bradshaw is a notable character for her breathtaking life; Carrie is a symbol for design and high class. We straight away draw an association with any brand related with Carrie Bradshaw to being an extreme extravagance brand, and as a watcher I want to possess the brands appeared in the film to cause myself to show up progressively fabulous. The Sex and the City's intended interest group are females more than 16 y ears. It has an accentuation on connections and high design. I try to be Like Carrie and her companions as they were Independent and bring out thoughts of their own about sex and ladies being in control. The Manual Blank shoes are focused to me and ladies with comparative interests in style and their appearance. The shoes are a costly thing yet the brand makes me believe that I would be better than others in the event that I own this extravagance great. By possessing Manual Blank shoes I would feel a piece of the top name brand network which they partner Carrie with (Ganglier, 2012). I accept that If I claimed them I would show up increasingly captivating and they would give me class and style. These shoes would influence mental self view decidedly for me (Williston, 2012).This is on the grounds that I would feel progressively significant and certain with these shoes on. Mascots Hierarchy of Needs recommends that â€Å"people are roused to satisfy their essential needs, before proce eding onward to other, further developed needs† (Cherry, n. D. Para. 1). The requirements are appeared on a pyramid beginning with physiological needs then wellbeing needs, social needs, confidence needs and getting done with self-realization (Cherry). Manual Blank shoes fall Into the confidence bunch as they can give the proprietor certainty and status (MBA Online Programmer, n. ). The Culled family in Twilight are delineated as flawlessness. They are delightful, rich, and shrewd and are recognized as better than every other person. The brand Apple shows up in Breaking Dawn during a genuine scene in the film where the Culled family are frantically investigating to discover an actual existence line. As the PC is dependable and a decent wellspring of exploration as a scholarly family, for example, the Culler's utilization them. Breaking Dawn was the third top earning film of 2011 which shows the age crowd that this film connected with (Midi. Mother, Inc. N. D). The Apple image gleams on the screen with the family out of sight to accentuation this is a brand that a family as flawless as the Culler's would utilize. The Twilight arrangement is focused to high school young ladies and ladies who fantasize over the attractive men in the film (Denial, 2011). The Twilight Saga has been a tremendous hit, as at 13/04/12 its Faceable page has 31 ,951 , 1 55 preferences with a significant number of these fans being fixated on the characters and entertainers in the movie. With other 31 million fans, Apple is getting their rand out to an enormous crowd who are probably going to be impacted by what the characters are related with. Nightfall fans will accept that by partner themselves with the brands that are utilized in the Twilight Saga motion pictures they will be all the more similar the characters. I am a devotee of the brand Apple; I for one own an Apple case and an Imax. My unit is something I was unable to envision working without as it holds numerous melodies jus t as having different capacities, for example, the web, email and camera.I by and by invest a ton of energy in my Imax both for social reasons speaking with individuals and to get college work finished. These Apple items are basic for me as I was unable to envision my day by day existence without them. It is a piece of my way of life to be state-of-the-art on the most recent innovation, and to have the option to impart by implication through the web with my companions (Williston). It is a standard inside my way of life to claim Apple items, the individuals around me and I use Apple items every day (Williston).By having Apple related with well known entertainers, for example, Robert Patterson and Kristin Stewart, the brands are a piece of these on-screen characters backhanded reference bunch as the on-screen characters are individuals you try to resemble (Williston). These gatherings give us â€Å"a perspective in choosing what utilization conduct to undertake† (Williston, 201 2. Gathering Influence and Social Norms Lecture). Aberrant reference gatherings can impact purchasers relying upon numerous components including how alluring the reference bunch is, regardless of whether the item is being utilized openly and the customer's confidence (Williston).Apple is as of now a very notable brand and when the logo came into see on the screen the watchers would have straight away remembered it and started to make associations with he brand and the Robert Patterson or Culled family reference gathering. Brand value is significant when attempting to make your image acquainted with buyers it is â€Å"The esteem premium that an organization acknowledges from an item with a conspicuous name when contrasted with its conventional equivalent† (Investigated, n. . Para. L). Brand value is about the name and image of the brand, it incorporates brand dedication, name mindfulness, saw quality, brand affiliations and other restrictive and brand resources (Ganglier). Wit h Apple and Manual Blank showing up in these notable and famous motion pictures they are increasing a great deal of brand mindfulness which is significant as when buyers are picking between alternatives they will pick the brand they are most recognizable with.Viewers of Sex and the City partner Carrie with top notch merchandise so by observing Carrie with her Manual Blank shoes purchasers will consequently relate the Manual Blank to top quality which will enhance the brand. Manual Blank and Apple have been effective at getting their brands out Breaking Dawn Part One. The characters and entertainers are dollied by numerous so a great deal of customers are probably going to be affected to buy these items. By possessing the items appeared in the films shoppers will have the option to connect themselves with the brand networks and reference gatherings.

Challenges to Project Management in Construction

Difficulties to Project Management in Construction By Aivaras Symanas Presentation This work utilizes Dreadnought venture as a vehicle for conversation for challenges and of task the board in development just as inspecting hazard the executives system, especially centering upon the issues that emerge from . Difficulties to Construction Project Management The multifaceted nature of customers requests, along with the expanding intricacy of the development business, especially because of mechanical turns of events, has throughout the years brought about specialization inside the business. Assortment of callings have created as isolated aptitudes (for example Design, Quantity Surveying, ME Engineering and so on.) and even on a little task those aptitudes are included. The way in to the administration of development ventures is in this way the manner by which the benefactors are composed with the goal that their abilities are utilized in the correct way and at the opportune time for the most extreme advantage to the customer. There is little point in the development business building up its abilities on the off chance that they are not, at that point executed effectively.(Walker, 2002) Situation issues Notwithstanding the callings previously referenced, each development venture includes a significant number of the accompanying extra partners: Multiple administrative bodies, nearby inhabitants, legal funeral directors, end clients and so forth. Inner and outside partners would be engaged with various phases of the undertaking. Early and thorough partner recognizable proof and examination, along with ordinary observing and refreshing, is vital so as to manage all partners and defuse numerous conceivable task impediments. (Guerin, 2012) Effective Construction Project Management A venture might be considered as effective if the structure is conveyed at the opportune time, at the suitable cost and quality measures, and conveys the customer with a significant level of fulfillment. (Naoum Langford, 1989). Successful undertaking the board looks to ensure that these goals are accomplished, however in any case, finishing enormous development extends on schedule and on financial plan relies upon a serious extent of synchronization among numerous partners which requires the whole group to work in coordinated effort. The requirement for cooperation emerge and are relied upon level of vulnerability, association and multifaceted nature of the task. Issues with development industry and its connection with joint effort was perceived in the Latham Report (Constructing the Team) in 1994, and again strengthened by the Egan Report in 1998 (Rethinking Construction)(Gardiner, 2014) .It is reasonable for state, that cooperation is much progressively required in todays industry with its unpredictable chain of gracefully and presentation of expert subcontractors and provider plan. Successful coordinated effort is one of the apparatuses to guarantee that partners can achieve the mind boggling arrangement of interconnected errands on schedule. Apparatuses to accomplish coordinated effort http://www.constructionbusinessowner.com/subjects/technique/development organization the executives/key-fruitful development venture the executives Dynamic Iron Triangle As referenced before, time cost and quality, otherwise called iron triangle, is regularly connected with venture achievement, finding an ideal harmony between them, or recognizing the needs of key components could assume a major job of undertaking the board. Lawrence Miles created technique called esteem designing which is utilized to take care of issues and recognize and take out undesirable expenses, while improving capacity and quality. In development this includes considering the accessibility of materials , development techniques , transportation issues, site constraints or limitations, arranging and association, costs, benefits, etc. https://www.designingbuildings.co.uk/wiki/Value_engineering_in_building_design_and_construction Information Gunboat venture includes significant renovation works, just as substitution of existing administrations. As per (Koehn Tower, 1982) repair work requests significantly more prominent oversight than new form work, given the expansion in labor, along with a comparing increment in divided specific work and the troubles related with unexpected difficulties, for example, asbestos discoveries in destruction stage. The elevated level of vulnerability in restoration ventures will in general lead to extend over-run. The capacity of venture director to adapt to sudden change as well as clashes are fundamental just as information related with the investigation of task dangers. (Smyth Pryke, 2008) Arrangement of a Risk Management Strategy Hazard Management is a specific type of dynamic inside task the executives, these choices are made against a foreordained arrangement of goals, rules or needs dependent on information, information and data applicable to the issue. (J.Smith, et al., 2009). In any case, it is beyond the realm of imagination to expect to have all important data on schedule, or states of absolute assurance and now and again choices are not well established, not founded on a legitimate appraisal of venture explicit measures and lead to troubles later. (J.Smith, et al., 2009). Gunboat venture was proposed to be open by 2016, however due.kas nutiko ? the primary temporary worker was sold. In development extends every one of the three essential focuses of iron triangle will probably be liable to hazard and vulnerability. It follows that a sensible gauge is one which considers every one of those hazard and vulnerabilities which can be foreseen for a fact and prescience. Venture directors ought to embrace or propose activities which dispense with the dangers they happen, or decrease the impacts of hazard or vulnerability and cause arrangement for them in the event that they to happen when this is conceivable and financially savvy. (J.Smith, et al., 2009). Most ordinarily, the Client has a general hazard the board procedure and strategy remembered for the key archives and quality administration frameworks. Primary issues concerning venture proprietor hazard technique are chance possession (which gathering claims the hazard; chance presentation and move) and hazard financing (how to incorporate and utilize spending hazard remittance or possibility). Undertaking arranging strategies ought to be used to convey to all gatherings in a venture, to recognize groupings of exercises and to cause to notice potential issue regions. The effective acknowledgment of a task will rely extraordinarily upon cautious arranging and persistent checking and refreshing. Groupings of exercises will be characterized and connected on a timescale to guarantee that needs are distinguished and that proficient use is made of costly or potentially scant assets. The motivation behind arranging are thusly to convince individuals to perform errands before they defer th e tasks of different gatherings pf individuals, and in such a grouping, that the best use is made of accessible assets and to give a system to dynamic in case of progress. Task the executives data frameworks (PMISs) should gauge the result of an undertaking in wording identified with accomplishment of its targets. Incorporated cost models connect time with cash. They give venture chiefs figures to finishing as far as cost, time asset use and income. Choice about future activities can be made with the best accessible gauges in these terms. Cost models likewise help to conquer an execution hole between checking frameworks and the supervisors activity. Hazard the board programming (RMS) is the term used to mean a master programming, which can be utilized to apply on of the many hazard evaluation procedures (for example Origami, Procore) It is verifiable truth that overseeing hazard has two significant targets; to maintain a strategic distance from the drawback dangers and to abuse openings. What's more, all the time, the last has been ignored, as the previous has considerably more to do with making sure about your undertaking destinations, which for some, associations is need. In any case, on the hand, the significant jumps in venture cost and time decrease are aftereffects of inventive deduction with center around investigating openings by testing the dangers. The pattern today is to build up aspiring objectives, to look for new innovative arrangements and ideas and to search for successful methods of sorting out and overseeing ventures (J.Smith, et al., 2009) To accomplish these points it is proposed that an orderly methodology is followed: to recognize the hazard sources, to evaluate their belongings, to create the board reactions to hazard lastly to accommodate remaining danger in the activities gauges. These four phases include the center of the procedure of hazard the executives. Hazard Management can be one of the most inventive undertaking of task the board. (J.Smith, et al., 2009) Possibility End Close prescribe there are explicit parts to the inquiry, be that as it may, there might be an assortment of choices, it is helpful to assess these before you finish up; the end should re-repeat, this might be emotional, if a fair view is expressed, this can't not be right, anyway there must be an end Word check (barring References) 2000 Guerin, D. Hardness created by components, for example, calcium and magnesium feline particles produce rubbish in pipes and with numerous mechanical synthetic compounds lessens their general viability. That is the reason it is essential to have financial and dependable methods of diminishing water hardness in huge scales. The specific strategy utilized in this examination was lime soft drink mellowing. It must be noticed that this specific methodology just works for water that has an underlying pH level lower than 8. In view of stoichiometry and the expansion rules as per Nazaroff and Alvarez-Cohen we can discover what centralization of Ca(OH)2 and NaCO3 are expected to expel hardness from the water. In view of our outcomes the conditioning of the water was a triumph. Starting complete hardness was recorded at 328 mg/L, in the wake of mellowing the fixation was seen as 84 mg/L.Looking independently at the decrease of calcium and magnesium the focus was diminished from 296 mg/L to 59 mg/L and 32 mg/L to 25 mg/L individually. Despite the fact that a lot of the hardness was expelled from the water it was not even close to as far as possible levels. This can be credited to the way that the responses tha t direct hardness expulsion experience the ill effects of consistent losses. Wellsprings of blunder in this lab can be credited to the way that the example water was just permitted to encourage for 15 minutes rather than the 20 that was required as expressed by the methodology.

Discrimination and David Batty People Essay

Segregation and David Batty People Essay Segregation and David Batty People Essay In today’s society equity and the craft of â€Å"being fair† is well known, as it ought to be. The measure of chances before any American is mind blowing, and everything is by all accounts an opposition with another person. Separation is a brutal to the point word with a significantly more unprecedented definition than the one given by the word reference. â€Å" The low or biased treatment of various classifications of individuals or things.† The craft of making a decision about somebody by what the look like or how you see the person in question to be has been around since the start of man. There are approaches to wipe out segregation and manage without it. Throughout the years the manner in which individuals are judged or taken a gander at has changed and will consistently keep on after some time. Segregation is todays society is far not the same as separation in the 1930’s or 1950’s. Women’s rights are something that is as yet present in today’s society just as back in the mid 1900’s. Men have consistently observed themselves more brilliant or above ladies just when all is said in done. This isn't the situation by any stretch of the imagination, all people are equivalent and no man ought to be taken a gander at as â€Å"better† or â€Å"more suited† than any lady. Ladies were victimized in light of the fact that they were not said to have been as brilliant as the man so they were given lesser obligations. Since the time man and lady were caused equivalent ladies to have met people's high expectations and not let any close to home decisions by individuals keep them down. Despite the fact that two things are supposed to be equivalent under law, that can never show signs of change anyone’s convictions or what they accept ou ght to occur. â€Å"We run from things that we don’t comprehend and when we can’t run, we decry the individuals who are not the same as ourselves.† (Scott Benner) This leads me to the segregation of African Americans and how right up 'til the present time individuals are as yet bigot toward somebody of another skin shading. This is presumably the most utilized case of â€Å"discrimination† and it is intense. Since the common war and the purported â€Å"end to slavery† there have been individuals who don't concur. It is human instinct nearly to represent what you have confidence in. Bigotry and separation towards individuals of the contrary race can be an unstable subject and can be touchy to many individuals. In spite of the fact that it is a touchy theme it truly is an immense issue on the planet we live in. Also, Whites and Blacks as well as different races that have preferences accepted about them too. â€Å"The second a young man is worried ab out which is a jay and which is a sparrow, he can no longer observe the winged creatures or hear them sing.† (- Eric Berne) When man isn't viewed as one entire, there is no more agreement for one is viewed as various. Our general public right currently is so contradictive with any news that is put out. Every single dark school are permitted however on the off chance that there was an all white school? Wouldn’t that be marked bigot? When at long last it is simply reasonable? This is only one case of how segregation and prejudice have influenced everybody experiencing childhood in this world and how it will keep on with the assistance from our folks. There truly is no real way to totally stop bigotry and separation since it is a piece of our American history and nobody will ever overlook what occurred and delete their own convictions. Guardians are an enormous contributing component since they are the ones that at last ingrain convictions upon their children, which each parent does. Segregation of the intellectually disabled is something different that isn't just a major issue yet something that is simply so impolite and mean. All since somebody is unique in relation to you, you misuse that person. Some tested individuals I have met

External or Internal Disaster in Organization

Diverse Business is influenced by inward and outer variables. These angles have huge effects in transit business associations are working. One of these is the purported debacles in an organization.Disasters might be considered as outside if the powers occurs from the outer condition of the association, similar to globalization, worldwide budgetary emergency, mechanical changes and others while web calamities are those that occurs inside the association like inability to offer quality support, failure to showcase the items and administration well, powerlessness to deal with dangers which influences the general execution of the organization.Primarily, the objective of this paper is to think about an interior catastrophe from one of the most disputable associations in the market, I. . the instance of Enron. Inward Disaster Aforementioned, one of the most discussed issues and catastrophes in the business is the reviewing just as bookkeeping disappointment of Enron. It is considered as th e biggest liquidation and stock breakdown (Fox 2003). Before the organization confronted this issue, Enron has been considered as a significant American vitality industry. The occasions or fiascos that came about to the liquidation and breakdown began some time before anybody had presumed misrepresentation and peculiarities at the industry. In this catastrophe, two names have been noted: Arthur Andersen and Enron. One of the catastrophes that tested the organization is the powerlessness of the administration to foresee the bad behaviors of Arthur Andersen. The calamities are focused in inspecting angles not long before Enron petitioned for financial protection. For instance in 1996, Andersen’s review report with respect to Waste Management funds were found to be superfluous and physically bogus that outcomes in expansion of Income of the organization by over $1 billion in the center time of the 1990s.On the other hand, in 1997, it has been discovered by the SEC that Sunbean ha s utilized bookkeeping stunts to make bogus benefits and deals and Andersen’s job in this fiasco is that he closed down these budgetary reports occasion after an industry accomplice hailed them. In this, the organization confronted serious debacle of collaborating or recruiting an examining and counseling enterprises which is incredulous and reckless. In spite of the fact that the organization has not known, Enron still has a few intends to forestall such issue. However, the activity of the organization with regards to their monetary review has been exceptionally feeble that it prompts their significant liquidation. To have the option to understand this sort of calamity, Enron the executives has given fiasco designs by distinguishing the root f the issue. In the wake of knowing the issue about Arthur Andersen, the administration quickly looks for outsider help to clear the issue by making Andersen pay for the outrages and irregularities he has done.On one hand, another calamit y looked by the organization is in accordance with the wasteful and key dynamic methodology and furthermore having questionable and unclear firm monetary and practice points. Despite the fact that Enron has some administration plan, the organization has not had the option to execute this arrangement well. For example, The CEO of Enron had different item designs which required major money related help; the association during that period was likewise experiencing serious fiascos in their universal businesses. In expansion, it was not until Enron was monetarily shaky did the organization begins to accomplish something. In order to determine this sort of debacle, the association actualized various methodologies. Be that as it may, the technique of the organization just went from one significant debacle of misfortune to the next. Due to the disappointment of the administration of the association to have vital dynamic, this lead to serious debacle of speculations and organizations, the org anization’s development eased back down . Thus a greater amount of its ineptitudes and disappointments had developed progressively obvious (Zellner et al. 2001).Bankruptcy and different bodies of evidence against the organization had come about to their chapter 11. Likewise, different representatives of the association had lost their school reserves, life investment funds, and benefits alongside the breakdown of the organization. In this, it tends to be said that the administration of Enron must have the option to have vital dynamic for the future to consistently support the quality of the organization. So as to explain this debacle, the association has had the option to start a legitimate and key dynamic of the company.Herein, the company’s choice ought to be made deliberately by distinguishing first the upsides and downsides of the choice that they made. The administration makes sure that everyone ought to consent to the choice so further clash or dangers inside the organization would not emerge. Great dynamic can be credited as one of the crucial elements that will assist the business with achieving its center strategic goal. This option is useful such that it can make the organization progressively serious and make due in the promoting condition. ConclusionThere are numerous exercises that can be gained from the instance of Enron and Arthur Andersen. It tends to be inferred that, in view of the instance of Enron, it is significant that each person in the business field should realize how to oversee or to deal with catastrophes, explicitly inner debacles all together for the business to make progress and to have the option to oversaw it adequately. For our situation, it is significant that the exercises gained from Enron and Arthur Andersen embarrassment should fill in as illumination in making a productive hazard the board manual

The Constitution(Jefferson) vs The Communist Manifesto(Marx)

Thomas Jefferson was an individual from a pilgrim government during a period of disturbance and warmed legislative issues. Karl Marx was a Prussian logician and columnist with radical philosophies. In spite of the fact that living in various timeframes (Jefferson during the eighteenth Century, Marx during the nineteenth Century), the two scholars share something for all intents and purpose. Legitimately or in a roundabout way, Thomas Jefferson and Karl Marx both started an upset by their compositions. Jefferson†s piece The Declaration of Independence announced the opportunity of the first Thirteen Colonies from England, which lead to the American Revolution. Vladimir Lenin grasped Marx†s work The Communist Manifesto and in the long run ousted the Russian government in the Russian Revolution. In spite of the fact that the settings of the works are unique, the two authors accentuated parallelism (Jefferson in paras. 5-29, Marx in paras. 24-30) to introduce their complaints in a successful way. In The Declaration of Independence, Jefferson assaults King George III (by utilizing the qualifier â€Å"He†) and his administration of the states. The agents of the provinces, including Jefferson, realized that with this record they are indicating resistance to England and have put their political professions just as the government assistance of the settlements in peril. In the years paving the way to this point, the British have removed the colonies† character, its privileges to administer the land and forced uncalled for tax collection on the residents. Jefferson accepted that the break among England and the states was inescapable, and was legitimized by the discriminatory strategies of British standard. In this way the American Revolution started. The Communist Manifesto is Marx†s endeavor to engender Communism as the ideal answer for pauperism. In contrast to Jefferson, Marx was not expounding on the imperfections in government; rather the Manifesto uncovered the blemishes in a Capitalist economy. Marx accepts that Capitalism is only an updated form of a primitive society, with regular people set into two principle classes, the common (present day Capitalists) and the proletarians (wage workers). He characterizes the qualities of the average and attempts to clarify its flaws. Marx additionally composed a 10-point Communist measure that would accommodate a perfect communist economy, just as reasons why communism is the idealistic culture countries ought to endeavor to turn into. Lenin misused Marxist standards to interface with the Russian residents, and persuaded a large portion of them that a communist society was superior to the Czar†s government. Subsequently the Russian Revolution started. In spite of the fact that routed to various crowds, the works of Jefferson and Marx both focused on the correspondence of people and opportunity from the subjugation of oppression. Jefferson utilized the Declaration of Independence to work up the settlers vigorously against the British. Marx trusted that the Communist Manifesto would work up a more extensive crowd, predominantly the destitution stricken pay workers of Capitalist governments. Not until after his passing had this occurred, with Lenin in Russia in 1917. I accept that the works of the two creators were noteworthy in their time, however it was the Declaration of Independence that delivered a vote based government, which has appeared to withstand the trial of time. With the breakdown of the Soviet Union and the miserable states of the staying Communist countries on the planet, I think Marx†s common based monetary framework is unsatisfactory for this world. In spite of the fact that Marx†s goals were sensible, I accept humankind will never accomplish a completely communist society due to man†s voracity and serious nature.

Easy Stress Management If Youre Feeling Exhausted

Easy Stress Management If Youre Feeling Exhausted Stress Management Management Techniques Relaxation Print Easy Stress Management If Youre Feeling Exhausted By Elizabeth Scott, MS twitter Elizabeth Scott, MS, is a wellness coach specializing in stress management and quality of life, and the author of 8 Keys to Stress Management. Learn about our editorial policy Elizabeth Scott, MS Updated on February 04, 2020 ULTRA F / Getty Images More in Stress Management Management Techniques Relaxation Physical Techniques Time Management Effects on Health Situational Stress Job Stress Household Stress Relationship Stress Stress management shouldn’t be stressful. Two of the most-recommended stress management techniques, exercise, and meditation, bring short-term benefits as well as long-term benefits that lead to greater resilience toward stress. And yet, sometimes when we need stress relief the mostâ€"when we’re feeling overwhelmed, frazzled, drained, or anxiousâ€"we may feel less inclined to practice some of the stress management techniques that can do us the ?best, such as exercise or meditation. Misconceptions About Stress Management Fortunately, there are some “easier” stress management techniques that can help us feel more energized or peaceful so we can either keep going with our day  or get to the point where we can engage in other stress relievers that can help us to feel even better. The following techniques can work when you really want less stress, but don’t quite feel like doing the stress management exercises you know you “should” do. They can give you just enough stress relief to feel better at the moment or can help you get to a place where you have the energy to take on one of those highly-effective habits that may take a little energy or effort to learn. Listen to Calming Music Music is a powerful tool for relaxation and stress management for several reasons.  The main  thing to know is that music can help you relax physically as well as psychologically,  it can do so pretty quickly, and with very little conscious effort from you. The key is to choose music that feels soothing to you, and that you actually enjoy listening to. This sounds like a no-brainer, but its important to note that listening to classical music can be more stressful than relaxing if you are someone who detests classical music. Put on some relaxing music and after a few minutes, you may be able to work yourself into a  music meditation.  If you still dont feel like meditating, thats okay, too; just listening to music for a while as you go about your other activities can get you into a less stressed place. Use Aromatherapy Aromatherapy is another stress management tool that takes so little effort, you might wonder if its really effective. The next time youd like to get into a more relaxed place but the thought of learning or practicing meditation feels like too much work, use some incense (try some recommended scents) to get yourself into a better mental space. You may feel like meditating after a few minutes, or you may not, but you will feel better, with very little effort. How to Use Aromatherapy for Stress Relief Practice Breathing Breathing exercises can be practiced anytime and anywhere.  These exercises  are similar to meditation in that they can calm your body and your mind, and you can use visualization in conjunction with them to deepen your relaxation. You can practice them quickly, however, and dont need to be in a quiet, distraction-free place, which makes them convenient as well. If you start practicing breathing exercises and feel like segueing into a full meditation session, thats wonderful. But you can achieve easy relaxation with just a few minutes of breathing alone. Get Involved in a Hobby Like reading, hobbies are activities that we often think of as fun, but something we dont have time for. Hobbies, however, can help us to get into a mental place that is near-meditative. They are types of  gratifications, which are activities that positive psychologists recommend for happiness and stress relief. Why Hobbies Can Help You Cope With Stress If meditation sounds a bit daunting, hobbies may be just the thing for you. Whether you engage for a few minutes or a few hours, these activities can help you to relax, and thats important at any stage of life. Read a Good Book Reading an activity  that many people enjoy but do not find time to do. It feels like a luxury  but is a useful tool for stress management, which makes it more important than just an enjoyable pastime. When youd like to relax but dont feel like doing anything you should do, allow yourself to get lost in a good book, even if only for a few minutes. Like meditation, it can take you to a mental space that is far away from the stresses of your daily life and can help you to relax. You may just feel like putting the book down and meditating after a few minutes, but if you dont, at least youve allowed yourself a much-deserved break. What About Exercise? Exercise is also an important stress management technique that brings short-term and cumulative benefits w but may feel daunting for the overwhelmed. If you feel too exhausted to exercise, here are some stress management techniques that can help you to feel more relaxed and energized, so you can either find the motivation  for a workout or at least get to a place where you feel less stressed. College Distance Learning Interview with Jim Vidmar

Related Articles Korean Language Distance Learning Classes for College Credit Korean Language Distance Learning Classes for College Credit Wastewater Treatment Operator Distance Learning Programs Wastewater Treatment Operator Distance Learning Programs Distance Learning Speech Pathology Graduate Programs Distance Learning Speech Pathology Graduate Programs Jim Vidmar (JV): I was interested in working on my degree online because I didn't want to commit the time necessary to obtain a traditional, classroom-based degree. I enjoy a variety of activities away from work, so I thought the flexibility to study on my own schedule would be best. I also chose to complete my degree online because I was able to obtain a recognized credential from a major, accredited research university and not a corporate storefront. LTK: How has your online degree benefited your career? JV: I work in adult and higher education in a university environment, so an advanced degree will definitely make more opportunities available to me. In fact, following the completion of my graduate degree, I have started teaching online marketing courses for the college I graduated from. Pros and Cons of Distance Learning LTK: What are the advantages of distance learning? What are the disadvantages? JV: The most distinct advantage of distance learning is the opportunity to study on your own schedule. While many people enjoy the experience and accountability associated with attending classroom instruction, I believe online or distance learning provides the most flexible opportunity for working adults. The curriculum I worked through was also heavily augmented with online resources that provided a wealth of timely information that is not often available in textbooks. The inherent disadvantages are created by the course delivery method. Students miss out on the opportunity to visit with professors face-to-face, and the chance to discuss course topics with other students in an open, academic setting. LTK: Do you feel your coursework was as challenging as the classes in a traditional university? Why or why not? JV: The online degree I completed was interdisciplinary based, meaning it included perspectives from the social sciences, natural sciences, and humanities. I definitely feel it was as challenging and rigorous a program as a traditional, classroom-based curriculum. In many ways, it was probably more challenging, because as a student you have to be more dedicated to studying the course material, extracting the key points, and synthesizing that information into academic papers.

Avoiding Ice and Snow Damage to Trees

Brittle tree species that retain dead, persistent winter leaves normally take the brunt of heavy icing after a winter storm. Knowing and managing your brittle trees and you can make it through a normal ice storm. Many of the elms, most true poplars (not yellow poplar), silver maples, birches, willows, and hackberry are tree species that simply cant handle the weight of the ice slurry coating their limbs, persistent leaves, and needles. They do well with the snows of the north but have problems in areas that have regular ice storms. Cold climate conifers like fir, spruce and hemlock can handle moderate icing. Southern yellow pines usually take a beating during major icing events that occur on the edge of their natural range. Brittle trees tend to be fast growers. Because of their desirable growth potential and the prospect of making quick shade, weak trees are sought out and planted by homeowners in late winter ice zones. Planting these trees will only exacerbate the problem of limb breakage during heavy icing. Fast-growing trees often develop weak, V-shaped crotches that easily split apart under the added weight of ice. Because these trees usually take some damage from storms throughout the year, internal rot, decay and included bark (some of which you cannot readily see) lead to weakened trunks and limbs (some callery pears). Multiple leader, upright evergreens, such as arborvitae and juniper, and multiple leader or clump trees, such as birch, are most subject to snow and ice damage. Smaller trees need to be wrapped and larger trees with wide-spreading leaders should be cabled in ice-prone areas. Here are things you can do in the yard or landscape to prevent ice damage: Plant Only Strong Trees in Your Landscape Certain trees are popular year in and year out for a reason - they show well and live well. Prefer these trees but eliminate those I have mentioned that door poorly in ice-prone regions.   Brittle Species Should Not Be Planted These species will not do well on sites where heavy ice and snow is a problem. Brittle species include elm, willow, box-elder, hackberry, true poplar and silver maple. Avoid Planting Species With Persistent Leaves Species  that hold their persistent leaves into late fall and early winter where early ice storms are common isnt a great idea. These trees are quickly damaged and removed where the ice storm is common. Wrap Small Multi-Leader Trees So you have a valuable, small specimen you want to preserve. If ice is predicted, secure the tree with strips of carpet, strong cloth or nylon stockings two-thirds of the way above the weak crotches. Always remove any wrapping during spring to avoid binding new growth and girdling limbs and trunk. Begin an Annual Pruning Program When Trees Are Young There is not much you can do with a weak crotch so use tip 4. Prune dead or weakened limbs and excessive branches from trunk and crowns. This reduces ice weight that can rapidly destroy the trees form. Hire a Professional Arborist The expense is worth it for particularly valuable susceptible or wide-spreading large trees. An arborist can strengthen a tree by installing cabling or bracing on weak limbs and split crotches. Favor Conical Formed Trees Trees like conifers, sweetgum or yellow poplar will be robust additions to your landscape. Species with less branch surface area, such as black walnut, sweetgum, ginkgo, Kentucky coffeetree, white oak, and northern red oak are preferred.

The Rise Of Drug Prohibition - 975 Words

Drug prohibition is rarely viewed negatively by many Americans. The failure of drug prohibition has sparked some debate in the last fifty years, however, the ignorance about illegal substances has led to little discussion on alternatives to prohibition. Legalizing all drugs would be a better alternative than perpetuating the failed war on drugs. The drug war has negatively impacted many lives by demonizing users and corrupting public officials. Criminalizing alcohol did not work in the 1920s and the same thing is true today about illicit drugs. Prohibition has stripped away a fundamental right we should have in a free society, and that is the right to consume whatever you want as an adult. The choice to consume alcohol was stripped from us at one point, however, Congress eventually passed the 21st Amendment making alcohol legal again. Alcohol prohibition has given us the opportunity to see the transformation of a once illegal drug become a legal and regulated substance. The 18th Ame ndment of the Constitution made alcohol consumption, distribution and production illegal. Prohibition subsequently gave birth to a criminal industry. Prohibition fostered the growth of powerful criminal organizations. It is clear that criminalizing a substance previously legal and letting the criminal market regulate it was a failure. The illegality of alcohol led to a black market where users were persecuted by society, which is exactly what the war on drugs is doing now. Baseball as a Motivator - Free Essay Example

Sample details Pages: 2 Words: 475 Downloads: 9 Date added: 2019/04/02 Category Sports Essay Level High school Tags: Baseball Essay Did you like this example? I believe that baseball has taught me to treat every task with my full effort and dedication, as it is the best way to give myself the greatest chance to succeed while leaving me satisfied with the resulting outcome of my effort. I settled my left foot in the batters box. It was my freshman season, and I was selected for the Varsity Baseball Team. We were playing the best team in the area, and I was our teams last chance to avoid a no-hit game. The pitcher went through his wind-up, then released the ball. Time slowed. I recognized the curveball out of his hand, and I swung. Strike three! The game was over. Don’t waste time! Our writers will create an original "Baseball as a Motivator" essay for you Create order We went on to have a disastrous season with a nauseating record of 3-21. I had two options: I could hang up my cleats or I could try to do something about it. I wanted to quit because, combined with my trouble to adapting to a rigorous IB curriculum, I felt that all of my effort had not paid off. Instead of quitting, I decided that I would use my frustration to better myself as a player. That summer, I worked for hours on end in the excruciating Florida heat, practicing to prepare for the upcoming season. I believe that the following summer taught me that hard work and commitment could be both rewarding and satisfying. 3-21! my teammates yelled as we stormed the field on opening day, not as a signal of defeat but as a source of motivation. We were ready. I was proud to have earned the starting first baseman position. My team began the season 9-0, possibly unmatched by any baseball team in our schools history. Then we struck out again, losing seven of the next eight games. Yet, instead of letting this pull us apart, we grew closer and more determined to succeed. My team rallied to finish the season with a 14-10 record, qualifying for the playoffs. We won the first round with ease, but then had to face the number one seed in the tournament. We lost in extra innings, but we had still exceeded all expectations. Through all of its ups and downs, baseball has taught me the priceless quality of perseverance. Through hard work and dedication, I have developed resilience and the ability to bounce back after failure. I have learned to apply this quality to all areas of my life. Intense preparation and dedication has allowed me to excel both academically and athletically, and when I encounter problems or make mistakes, I choose to learn from them instead of being controlled by them. This is why I believe that baseball is the perfect game. It has caused me to continually strive to exhibit the resilience necessary to overcome the difficult challenges I face, even when life throws me a curveball.

Analyzing The Ways That Plato Is An Unusual Epic Hero

An Unusual Hero (An Analysis of the Ways that Plato is an Unusual Epic Hero) From the crooked heights of Troy to the winding streets of Athens, the ancient West was fascinated by epic heroes. Bards sang poems about the fleet footed Achilles and the cunning Odysseus. Every man, woman, and child knew the stories of Jason, Hercules, and Hector. However, there is one man who achieved fame akin to the epic heroes of olden times with neither strength nor skill. His name was Socrates. In ancient Greece, Socrates was the most famous celebrity. Today, Socrates is perhaps more famous than any epic hero. In an article entitled, â€Å"Celebrities of the Ancient World,† Robert Garland says, â€Å"The fact remains that Socrates was one of the best known Athenians of his day.† His disciplines of thought have influenced almost every aspect of modern society. Traces of Socratic method can be uncovered in modern school systems and in the media. Socrates is an unusual epic hero because he was ugly, he chose to use words over violence, and he realized the importanc e of education over glory. At the peak of his fame, Socrates was a very unattractive, old man. Robert Garland describes him: â€Å"He had a striking physical appearance, which his contemporaries compared to that of a snub-nosed, bald and ugly Silenus.† He adds, â€Å"Beauty is useful in the path to stardom. Evaluation of Different Pricing Strategies Free Essays

The models are based on the average cost approach to price setting but differ slightly In detail. The paper Initially examines the models from an analytical point of view. The paper then describes a simulation model used to evaluate the effect of both decision approaches over time. We will write a custom essay sample on Evaluation of Different Pricing Strategies or any similar topic only for you Order Now While the models are analytically similar the simulation results show that the long run behavior of the firm is significantly different under each approach. This work is part of the author’s PhD research and represents ongoing rather than completed work. Please do not quote without prior permission. Introduction This paper continues the author’s examination of firm growth using analytical and simulation modeling methods and which has already been discussed in Brady (1999; AAA, b and c; 2001). This paper specifically examines firm growth under two different managerial policies both of which use the average cost including demand pricing assumption discussed in Brady (2001). Methodology Two models identical in all respects but one were used in this research. Both models used the average cost including demand approach IEEE. Firms produce product at a certain cost and then set out to sell that product at a marked up price. The models defer in the policy adopted by the firm when production exceeds demand for their product. The firm in model A sells whatever quantity it can at Its marked up price as documented In Brady (2001). The firm In model B sells the quantity It produces at the price the market will bear [e. It sells at the price determined by the firm’s demand curve. Model A Is more realistic In that firms Immediately realism that they have exceeded their demand curve In that they are unable to sell product at the marked up price and either they Increase Inventory or goods perish. Model B Is less realistic In that firm’s cannot determine price with certainty from the demand curve (they do not know their demand curve with certainty): in practice firms must determine this price by some kind of atonement mechanism. Note Tanat tons osculation does not model ten atonement process itself; instead it determines the new price directly from the demand curve. In summary, when production exceeds demand, under model A the firm sells less product than it anticipates but holds its price whereas under model B the firm sells all it produces but at a lower price. Specifically model B differs from model A as follows: the demand function (P = a – BC) used is the inverse function to that used in model A (Q = a – BP); these two expressions are functionally equivalent. The models also differ in that in model A units sold were equal to the units produced or units demanded, whichever is the lower; in model B the price at which goods are sold is equal to the marked up price or the demand price (e. The price given by the demand function), whichever is the lower. In all other respects, including the values of all parameters, the models are identical. In the case of both models demand is held constant throughout the simulation ‘e. The demand curve does not shift upwards or downwards during the simulation. Also, depreciation has been set to zero during the simulation and fixed costs remain constant throughout the simulation (IEEE. There is no step increase in fixed costs as described in Brady, 2001). Results The results of the simulation for model A are shown in figures 1, 2, 3 and 4. Examining firstly firm size, as measured by capital, we see in figure 1 that the firm increases in size until approximately period 50 and then firm size remains more or sees constant. To see why this is so we examine firm retained earnings as shown in figure 2. Here we see retained earnings increase monotonically until period 42 and then decrease asymptotically to zero. Figure 3 shows both revenue and total cost and clearly demonstrates this decline in margin. Here we see the firm maintaining its margin percentage until period 42; margin then declines dramatically until approximately period 60; margin continues declining asymptotically to zero. 01 2 0 1 Capital Accumulated_loss 125021002 Time Figure 1. Model A: Capital Retained_earnings 0050100 Figure 2. Model A: retained earnings This decline in earnings is due to the fact that production exceeded demand in period 42 as shown in figure 4. From that period onwards the firm incurred an increasing cost of overproduction and gradually its margin eroded completely. Although the change in period 42 is abrupt the firm comes smoothly to an equilibrium state (although unfortunately for the firm this equilibrium state is one of zero profitability). On the positive side, the firm never makes a loss as it stops increasing production at a point before its price drops below cost. How to cite Evaluation of Different Pricing Strategies, Papers

International Consensus on Pediatric Asthma †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the International Consensus on Pediatric Asthma. Answer: Introduction: Acute asthma can be defined as of the gravest health care concerns, and it has served to be one adamant disease which requires critical care initiatives and management of the symptoms for the patient to be free from any danger of exacerbations. However, the medical industry provides systematic and efficient care program for diseases like asthma efficiently, which can be considered the contribution of a vast array of technological innovation and pharmacological advancements in the treatment of respiratory disorders (Orihara, Dil, Anaparti Moqbel, 2010). Along with the innovations in the medicine and pharmacology in order to combat the diseases like asthma, the innovative changes in the care planning and implementation for the patients suffering from asthma has contributed significantly as well to the improvement of the care scenario (Klok, Kaptein Brand, 2015). A clinical discussion comprises of exploration and analysis of the assessment of the patient and key findings, underlying p athophysiology of signs and symptoms, and care initiatives to be taken to address the clinical manifestations of the patient. This assignment will attempt to explore and evaluate the assessment and care planning procedure for asthma, taking the assistance of a case study as a clinical discussion report. Primary survey: This case study represents the case of a 12-year-old patient named Hannah sparks who had been admitted to the emergency department of a rural hospital with the primary clinical issues of shortness of breath. She had been diagnosed with asthma three years ago, and the only medical management that the patient had been privy to had been salbutamol inhalers, used when needed. It has to be mentioned in this context that the care of any patent presenting a series of discomfort must begin with the initial assessment phase. Many frameworks and protocols have been developed for streamlining the process of patient situation investigation and assessment of the signs and symptoms of the patient. The primary survey assessment framework can be considered the most suitable and effective first stage of the entire assessment process (Buckley Gordon, 2011). According to the Levinson et al. (2017), the primary survey assessment framework is the key process of the paramedic practice as well, as it serves the first pedestal of care planning for the patient. This framework mainly deals with the rapid process of determining the level of urgency that is needed by a particular patient. And along with that, the benefits of this specific assessment framework is extended towards understanding the quickly and systematically the critical condition of the patent and the absolute care priorities. The primary survey usually is conducted using the DRABC approach which has five step by step assessment functions, danger, response, airway, breathing and circulation assessment. The first component is danger, where the patient will need to be assessed for any immediate danger that can lead to fatal consequences for the patient. Concerning this case study, there was no immediate pertinent danger to the patient. The next element of the assessment framework is response, and it is associated with understanding the levels consciousness of the patient (Akinbami et al., 2012). In this phase the AVPU scale is utilized to check if the patient is alert, is responding to verbal stimuli, responding to any painful stimuli or is unresponsive throughout or in any of the mentioned stimuli. Concerning this case study, the patient is alert and is efficiently responding to the all the stimuli, her verbal response is limited to 2-3 word sentences. The next element of the assessment is the airway assessment, where the competence of the airways of the patient is checked for any risk of future stridors. In this case, Hannah, the patient under consideration in the case study had been dealing with audible expiratory wheezing which indicates at obstructed airways and possibilities of future stridor. The fourth element is the breathing assessment, which is done to check if the patient is breathing with an average respiratory rate and whether the patient has ade quate ventilation. Hannah had shortness of breath with audible wheezing and respiratory rate of 28 bpm, which indicates at respiratory disorders and aggravated asthma. The last element of the assessment framework is the circulation assessment which helps in determination whether the patient has an adequate pulse or circulation. In this case, the patient had a pulse rate of 125 bpm and the blood pressure of 130/70 mmHg; which indicates at the higher cardiac output and slight hypertension (Moore et al., 2010). Underlying pathophysiology with 2 abnormal assessment findings: From the primary survey assessment framework, it can be stated that the patient had been facing the onset of worsening asthma indicated by the shortness of breath, wheezing, and high respiratory rate. Now it has to be mentioned that asthma is a very common respiratory disease and it targets a vast majority of the population across differential age groups as well. This particular disease targets According to the authors, the pathophysiology of this disease is complex, and it involves a variety of different respiratory complications like airway inflammation, intermittent airway obstruction, and bronchial hyperresponsiveness. On a more elaborative note, it affects 235 million people worldwide, and despite being common in adults as well, this particular disease begins its onset in the children more commonly. It has to be mentioned that asthma is facilitated by the construction of the airways which in turn leads to inflammation and hypersecretion of mucus. Both of these factors together p romote wheezing and airway obstruction which can facilitate coughing, wheezing and shortness of breath as well (Murphy O'byrne, 2010). One of the most common phenomena in case of the asthma episodes is the onset of broncho-constriction. This process is facilitated when the inflamed airways produce a hypersensitivity reaction to the environmental triggers such as smoke, pollen, dust. This constriction then, in turn, produces excessive mucous which further blocs the already narrowed down airways and contributes to the obstruction. Elaborating more, the presence of the stimuli or allergen acts like a potent trigger in this scenario and leads to smooth muscle spasms in the bronchial airways which is soon followed by renewed inflammation and hypersecretion of the mucous in the airways leading to the infamous asthma attacks (Kaufman, 2011). Exploring the pathophysiology of the mechanism of the spasms, a bronchus functions by means of the autonomic nervous system which then functions by means of a parasympathetic reflex loop. This parasympathetic reflex loop is composed of afferent nerve endings present in the inner lining of the bronchus. The stimulation of the allergens is facilitated in the afferent nerve endings, which results into the travel of a significant impulse to the brain stem vagal centre and moves down the vagal efferent pathway and reaches back to the small bronchial airways facilitating the constriction and resultant intermittent spasms. The inflammation, on the other hand, is also facilitated by the immune response o the respiratory apparatus to the stimuli by the activation of the antigen-presenting cells (Orihara, Dil, Anaparti Moqbel, 2010). It has to be mentioned that, the two selected abnormal assessment findings from the primary survey assessment framework are the shortness of breath due to wheezing and high respiratory rate. The patient had audible expiratory wheezing and the ability to answer questions with 2-3 word sentences which indicates the severity of her airway obstruction and validates the choice of this finding. Along with that, the average respiratory rate is 18-20 breaths per minute, whereas the patient had a respiratory rate of 28 breaths per minute. Hence it had been chosen as the second abnormal assessment finding of the assignment. Considering the signs and symptoms of the patient it has to be mentioned that the stimulation by any external stimuli has resulted in the chain reaction of bronchial constriction in the patient; which has then led to airway inflammation, hypersecretion of mucous (Ozier et al., 2011). It can be the possible pathway leading to the presence of shortness of breath and wheezing in the patient due to airway obstruction, along with that the inflammation in the airways coupled with smooth muscle spasm would have resulted to increased oxygen demands in the body leading to the high respiratory rate at 28 breaths per minute. Nursing management in the first hour: Nursing priorities Nursing outcome Management interventions Rationale Shortness of breath with excessive wheezing. The patient will be relieved from the shortness of breath and the wheezing will subside. Along with that the normal relaxed breathing pattern will be facilitated in the patient. Assessment of the vital signs of the patient with assessment of respiratory rate, depth and rhythm. Assessment of the adventitious breathing sounds and oxygen saturation. Administration of airway clearance with sectioning intervention (Basole et al., 2015). Administration of necessary medication like beta 2 adrenergic drugs (albuterol, levalbuterol, terbutaline) It will help in determining the extend of the respiratory distress due to the asthma attack and the exact severity of her condition (Basole et al., 2015). Will help in understanding the severity of airway obstruction and bronchospasm. Cleared airways will facilitate better airway passage. These will serve the purpose of bronchodilation which will help in relaxing the bronchial smooth muscles, facilitating better airway passage (Papadopoulos et al., 2012). High respiratory rate and 91% oxygen saturation The patient will regain normal respiratory rate and the oxygen saturation of the patient reaches 98% Auscultation of the adventitious breathing sounds to check for wheezes or rhonchi and with effectiveness and duration of the cough (Papadopoulos et al., 2012). Entertain breathing exercises and suggest the patient to obtain recovery position to calm the patient and revive the breathing rate. Repeat airway clearance if needed and provide external oxygen masks. Encourage increased fluid uptake in the patient. Administer inhaled corticosteroids like budesonides, fluticasone, beclomethasone, and mometasone The breathing sound identification will guide the care plan to follow. The breathing exercises will serve as excellent nonpharmacological means to improve the expiration-aspiration ratio. Airway clearance will reduce obstruction and will facilitate better breathing (Bratton et al., 2012). Fluid uptake will improve renal input and output facilitating better comfort of the patient. It will help in the reducing the inflammation and reviving the respiratory rate back to normal (Halterman et al., 2011). Slightly high cardiac output due to anxiety The patient will be relieved from the anxiety and will be calm and relaxed throughout the stay. Assessment of the cardiac output of the patient along with the blood pressure. Assessment of different signs of anxiety in the patient by assessing the indicators like panic, fear, and uneasiness in the patient (Klok, Kaptein Brand, 2015). Assessment of theophylline levels in the body. Providing the means for relaxation to the patient such as calm quiet atmosphere and soft music. Encourage progressive muscle relaxation technique in the patient, diaphragmatic and pursed lip breathing and repetitive use of relaxation phrases. The assessment will provide a clear idea regarding the cardiovascular risk. Anxiety can be a cause for shallow breathing and the underlying cause identification will guide the best suited intervention plan. As excessive theophylline concentration in the body determines the levels of anxiety this assessment will determine the severity of the anxiety in the patient and its impact on the cardiac output (Morse et al., 2011). The calm environment and soft muscle will to some extent reduce the tachycardia. The relaxation exercises will help the patient overcome the anxiety and feel calm so that the cardiac output decreases further. Management of her slightly high blood pressure. The blood pressure of the patient will reduce and will revert back to the normal levels. Assessment, monitoring and recording to the blood pressure of the patient and assessing the laboratory data that is available Assessing the presence of the quality of the central and peripheral pulse of the patient as well (Moore et al., 2010). Auscultation of heart tones and the breathing sounds. Administering mild diuretics to lower the blood pressure of the patient like the chlorothiazide, hydrochlorothiazide, indapamide, metolazone, or Quinethazone. In case the patient does not retain normal blood pressure, administrating loop diuretics like the furosemide, bumetanide, torsemide. It will provide the nursing profession with the insight regarding the underlying reasons behind the hypertension. It will provide insight regarding the incidence and probability of the vasoconstriction Will determine any possibility of atrial hypertrophy in the patient. It will help in reducing the hypertension of the patient by providing slight vasodilation and reducing BP (Liu et al., 2010). It will help in providing diuresis in the patient by inhibiting resorption of sodium and chloride in the body. Conclusion: It has to be understood in this context that any disease can turn life-threatening with the lack of immediate and effective intervention applied to the scenario. The delay in the administration of the care interventions can have a significant detrimental impact on the disease progression pathway and can even lead to fatal consequences for the patient. Therefore, the only method to ensure that the patient is going to attain immediate care intervention, prompt and effective assessment is an absolute requirement. The primary assessment framework provides the excellent tool for the registered nurses to effectively and successfully complete the task of assessing the different physical manifestation of the disease the patient is suffering from. The registered nurses are benefitted exponentially by the use if the DRABC primary survey assessment framework which provides the students with the opportunity to rapidly identify and articulate immediate responses for each care priority of the patient, in turn avoiding the chances of the patient deteriorating towards life-threatening abnormalities. This assignment provided an excellent opportunity to understand the importance of primary survey assessment framework and the context of medical practice that it can apply to effectively. And it will be an extremely beneficial stepping stone in the process of learning the key roles and responsibilities of a registered nurse while caring for an acutely ill patient approaching life-threatening condition.
